(1) Manual defrosting

The evaporator pipe can be defrosted with a broom or a crescent shaped frost shovel. This method is only applicable to smooth tube evaporator in cold storage. The manual defrosting operation is simple. During the defrosting operation, the evaporator does not stop working, so it does not affect the cooling of the cold room. However, it is difficult to completely remove the frost layer due to the high labor intensity of frost sweeping.

(2) Water frost

Water defrosting is a method to spray water on the outer surface of the evaporator by using a water spraying device, so that the frost layer is melted and washed away by the heat of water. Water defrosting is a simple and short-time defrosting method, which is often useful for right and wrong. However, it is only limited to the defrosting of the cooling fan with drainage pipe, and the cold room temperature is usually above -4 ℃.
